Starting in October, our family gets busy with birthday celebrations and holiday excitement. Kris and I just celebrated our birthdays this last week. I got a stomach thing just a few days before Kris's birthday and then poor Kris got an even worse case of the stomach flu on his birthday. He spent the day with a fever on the couch. Poor guy. I guess the highlight would be that it was the day of our first snow in our new house. I can't wait for a bigger snowstorm with more accumulation!
