For Columbus Day weekend this year, we decided to join our dear friends the Cowleys for some camping in the Shenandoah Valley. We took our dog Evey with us too. We were worried it might be awful having her there, but she did well. She barked a little, but not too much and slept with us in the tent, which turned out surprisingly well too. There was a great hike from our camp area to a little store. The kids did well on the trip and we all got to enjoy some yummy treats when we got there. The boys loved sleeping in the tent and having their buddies there to play with all day. They loved cooking on the fire and we all enjoyed relaxing with great friends!
Loved how Asa kept filling the chairs with rocks. It made me laugh. We found rocks everywhere!
The boys enjoyed playing a little touch football. We were impressed with so many of their plays!
