Back to School!

The boys have almost finished their first week of school and they are loving it so far!

Jack is in second grade at Mountain View Elementary School and has Mrs. Delashmutt.  He says she is funny.  He has a few friends in his class from last year and seems to be getting along very well.  He hasn't started any real homework yet, so the afternoons have been okay so far.  I'm preparing for some rough times ahead once the homework load begins.

Henry started preschool at Loudoun Valley Community Center.  He has Ms. Pam and Mr. Jim, just like Jack did.  He loves it! He is in the afternoon class so he has to wait all morning until he can go and play!  He just walks right in and get's started, no looking back!

I'm thrilled the boys are happy and enjoying school.  Adjusting to the new school routine is always a little rough at first, but soon it will be second nature.

Both boys are taking soccer this fall.  Jack has two practices a week and then they both have games/practices on Saturday.  Jack has been doing well with his team, even though he wasn't too excited about playing and Henry just can't wait!
