Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter together as a family. The day started with Jack hunting for this Easter basket. He followed the marshmallow trail the bunny left him and finally found it and spent the next little bit opening and organizing all his goodies. Needless to say, he had jellybeans and chocolate well before breakfast. We took a quick trip up to the "holy cow" house to see what progress it has made. On the way home, we played Eye Spy with Jack. He loved the game and was pretty good at it. When we got back, we had a nice Easter egg hunt outside, just around our house. It was a bit chilly for a major hunt. Jack was pleased with the smaller scale hunt and found all the hidden eggs. We went to church together and then returned to get ready for Easter dinner. We had some of Kris's family over and my Aunt Shari. We had a great time eating lots of yummy food. Jack and his cousins, Alex and Isaac, enjoyed filling dump trucks and trackers with jellybeans and dumping them all over the floor. It was great fun. I think Jack ate nothing but cookies and jellybeans. Thank goodness holidays like Halloween, Easter, and Christmas come once a year.
