A night with the stars!

Our ward had a primary talent show Friday night. When Jack first heard about it, he was so excited and said he wanted to kick a soccer ball. After we found out this wasn't an option (not enough room...and maybe a bit dangerous), Jack was disappointed, but determined to find another talent to share. He finally came up with showing the kids his yo-yo tricks. We tried to get some practice runs in before the big night, but Jack felt confident that he didn't need to practice. That evening he mentioned a number of times how excited he was about going up on stage to show his tricks. It was so adorable. His turned arrived and he walked up on stage. I sat to the side all verklempt that my little guy had taken the stage so bravely. He was up and down so fast, our picture was a bit blurry. He was awesome and we were so proud of him. The roar of the crowd kind of scared him and he rushed off stage. He immediately wanted to go home and then was told dessert was coming. "OK, I'll stay"!
