As part of Korean tradition, when a child turns one, they get a huge party celebrating their first year. During the party, they are presented with items on a table. The first two items the child chooses is supposed to represent what the child will do later in life.
Henry chose a computer mouse and a wrench. The mouse represents something to do with computers or being technically minded. The wrench means he will be a handyman of sorts and good with his hands. So far these are right on point. Henry loves computers, buttons on the remote controls and dvd player, and anything with wires. He also loves to find things around the house to "fix". He plays in all the cupboards taking things out and loves to pull up the air vent covers.
When Jack was one he chose a book and a ball. This seems fitting for him. He loves to read and enjoys sports. For a trip down memory lane check here.
