April

Finally catching up, so here goes!

April brought Easter which means dying eggs, baskets full of treats, and more adventures with our boys. This year we dyed eggs with our buddies, Ian, Addy, Asa, and Aunt Megan. The kids always have a great time. Henry wanted to carry his eggs home all by himself, so needless to say they arrived well cracked, but very colorful!

The boys hid their Easter baskets with Auntie Laura. They were very surprised the next morning to find them full of fun goodies. They always love the candy, but also enjoyed the egg shaped chalk and new shirts and ties.

We enjoyed our Easter dinner with Aunt Shari, Laura, Komo Keyyong, Uncle Keyhan, Isaac, and Alex this year. We had great food and good conversation. The boys enjoyed the annual egg hunt. Kris and Uncle Keyhan were able to hide some eggs outside just before the big rain storm rolled in. This year the boys had to find eggs filled with legos and then had a good time putting their lego creations together.

(This is the yummy dessert Laura made!)

We also had a quick visit from Harabogee, Gramma, and cousin Madison. The boys love when they visit and always have a great time with them. Henry especially enjoys having Madison around. They are at the age where you have to watch them carefully or you might find your fish tank full of playing cards!

Our boys most favorite activity is jumping on our bed. They would do it all day long if they could, but usually only have permission right before bedtime. They like to run across the room and roll onto the bed or create action moves while jumping in the air. I don't think this is a tradition that will be going away anytime soon. We may have to cut them off when they get a little bigger as they are very close to breaking our bed!

At the end of April, I went on our annual book club cabin overnight. It was loads of fun as usual. Great food, great friends, great conversation, and a great game of Celebrity! I have a lot of practicing to do before next year. I was definitely the weakest link on my team. We didn't win, but at least there was some entertainment and laughter! Ladies, thanks for another great trip!

This is just a random picture from April. The boys love going out to swing together. Henry gets away with just a diaper since we live in the country and Jack felt that he should be allowed the same privilege!
