4th of July 2013

In 4th of July tradition, we began our day with red, white, and blue crepes.  Following our yummy breakfast, we prepared for the annual town parade.  The boys love this parade because of all the candy they get!  Sadly, this year they felt the candy distribution was low.  In the evening, we had family come over for some dinner and pre-firework festivities.  This year we had Komo Keyyong, Uncle Kurt, baby Jayleigh, LaTanya (Keyla), Uncle Keyhan, and Elisa.  We usually have BBQ, but this year we went with the all american pizza and buffalo wing main course!  For the big fireworks, we drove up the road a little bit and pulled over to the side to watch the Franklin Park firework show.  The boys climbed on top of the car to watch.  Jack had his very best buddy (and neighbor) Asher along for the celebrations!
